Soft blonde curls touched the waist

Bright blue eyes scanned the crowd

Chatting bubbling  in excessive joy

Desire swelled up within her breast

Her eyes averted and she blushed

He did not fit the text she wrote

He would not be her hero ever

He lost her on the crowded bus

Miles and miles of endless longing

Tunnels dark now with no  escape

Hot tears for home replaced the glamour

Her spouses touch only a  dream

As desire exchanged her lovers charm

For an unsung hero on the farm.

Whose eyes adored the ground she walked

Who could not speak without the stammer

How blind the girl the grey man uncovered

With flowery words and shiny places

Glasses clear now all mist gone the dull grey man  with silver tongue.
